US President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled “Keeping Men out of Women’s Sports.” With this the 47th President of the United States of America has banned transgender athletes from taking part in girls’ or women’s sports. The order also allows the Department of Education to investigate schools that allow transgender athletes to compete against women. The latest order adds to the ongoing crackdown on the LGBTQ+ community. Trump has already declared that the US will have only two genders, he has banned trans personnel from the military, he has ordered to transfer trans women to men’s prisons and he has also signed an order banning passport applications with the Gender neutral x mark for the Gender category.
